Things discussed at last meeting

* Poppy and Remembrance competition coming to a close at the end of November. Not many entered on the council blog site so a good chance of winning if you enter soon.

* Autumn poem competition ends November 30th - get your entry in soon.

* Christmas magazine out soon - keep a look out in December - money raised goes to charity.

* Christmas card post box open soon - you can post a card for 2p a card (money to charity).

Things discussed at last meeting

  • School Magazine still on sale only 50p ALL money raised goes to charity. Have you entered the Autumn Competition? Enter today and you could win a note book, pencil crayons and a Ratatouille file.
  • Also if you write a comment on the school council blog saying why we have Remembrance Day or a poem about Poppy Day you could win a calculator. Prize to best comment or poem. Enter Today!!
  • Check out the pictures of the Lord Mayor - our councillors met at the Town Hall at the last parliament meeting.

We talked about

  • New Year 3 Councillors.
  • School magazine one sale, sop competition inside.
  • School councillors visited a School Parliament Conference.

School Council/Parliament

Recently 2 representatives from our School Council went to a schools’ Parliament meeting at the Town Hall.

The schools’ Parliament is a group of children from all school councils across Liverpool.

The children had the opportunity to meet the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, he is councillor Steven Rotheram.

The Lord Mayor opened the meeting. Our councillors had the opportunity to have their pictures taken with the Lord Mayor.
